Keep the Prayers Coming

I don't have an extensive update right now on our buddy Jack. He is in need of continued prayers overnight as he's still working to bounce back after his surgery.

Chaia has had a moderately good day. She is being weaned off of her CPAP pressures and so far she is tolerating it. Pray for her heartrate and that she would get some rest as she is a crazy lady today.

Jesus has a word for us today.

Matthew 6:25-34

Read it. Pray it. Own it.

Read the scripture. A prayer for Chaia, Jack, and both families. Praise God for all the wonderful nurses, doctors and all hospital staff members. Bless you all.

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

We are holding you all up in prayer constantly! Chaia, Jack, Ben, Shaina you're on our hearts and it's a privilege to hold your arms up! Our God has not abandoned you, I pray His love is wrapped around you and that it sustains you in this long journey. His love never fails!

Matthew 11:28-30 28 ‘Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.’

Come, follow Him, and He will give you rest.

Nighty Night, Chaia
Rest easy Ben, Shaina, Jack and family.

Ben,
Thank you for this scripture reminder. Not too long ago I was in constant worry over my child(ok adult, but she's still my child). She was 2400 miles away from me and to me worrying was the only thing I could do. How wrong I was, I finally asked God to help me, to take over my worries as I could not do this alone. I will never forget the feeling that came over me at that moment.....total peace. I will admit, I backslide at times and have to physically say out loud, "Lord, please help me, I cannot do this alone", and sure enough, He is there for me again. He does take care of us, all we have to do is ask.

I continue to pray for Jack (biased here, but it's a great name :)) and his family. You,Shaina,Chaia and your families are never far from my thoughts. May the Lord continue to watch over you and calm your worries. May you all have a peaceful and restful night. God Bless
