Prayer 101.

Lots of prayers being said today. Some of them of selfish. Some idolatrous. Some authentic and heartfelt.

We prayed for the four presidential and vice presidential men and their family on Sunday. It is amazing what happens when you begin to pray more than you complain.

So thinking about the best way to pray. Jesus told us a bit about that.

Our Father who art in Heaven
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Thy Kingdom Come
Thy Will Be Done
On Earth As It Is In Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
Forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
Lead Us Not into temptation
And deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever. Amen

This should inform our politics.

Have a good day today!
