Making Circles

God gave us Ezekiel 36:26 as a promise to circle when Chaia was fighting for her life and literally needed her calcified (stony) heart to be made into flesh.

We believe the Holy Spirit is doing that.

But what we are also aware of is that there are more hearts at stake in this story than just Chaia's. And that is the vision God is calling us to circle in Columbus and around the globe. Stemming off of Mark Batterson's "The Circle Maker" I have finally been able to articulate and illustrate the vision God has put in my heart. It starts with Chaia's heart, then the hearts of the people living at the Olentangy Commons (our neighborhood), then the 614 area code of Columbus, then our sister church plant we will be launching with simultaneously to CityCampusChurch in Ecuador, and then ultimately to the 10 largest college campus contexts in the United States.

This promise of Ezekiel 36 is the promise God is giving us for an entire generation.

The more I watch this unfold, the more I am certain we are in way over our heads.

And that is exactly where God wants us to be.

And by us...

I mean you too.

What is the thing, fear, relationship, dream or calling that God has stirred in you and you don't stand a chance of pulling off unless He pulls through?

It's time to pray circles.

WOW!! I love the heart illustration. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for giving Ben & Shaina this picture/graphic to increase our understanding of this ministry and also the clarity to know how to pray. God, You are AWESOME and POWERFUL and FULLY ABLE. We depend on you completely. Show us what to do, and give us insane courage as we lean upon You to achieve it! Let it be so.
