Back in the Saddle

Hello 614!

If you ask me, the thing Columbus needed was a little bit of mustard!

So we are settling in to our new place. There have been a few adventures (like pulling in with the U-Haul only to find out that the place they had held for us was one bedroom and 500 sq ft short of what we'd agreed on! But the people we worked with were great and we were given a place on the spot and are now to the point where we have less in boxes than out of boxes.

One thing Shaina and I have done at each place we have lived in is pray through the home. We pray in each room...pray at each doorway. It has significant meaning to us as a family. It was neat to include Chaia in this prayer time as well. Praying like this really helps us focus what we will be about.

Praying over the dining room that we would be extraordinarily hospitable, leads us to be ready to invite others over.

And the living room? We prayed for God's church to begin right there. It is exciting to think about the possibilities.

As far as prayer requests go, this week is really all about getting situated. Pray for us to be 100% ready to go after this church planting deal by the end of the weekend. Pray for us to find the right pediatrician, right pharmacist and right cardiologist for Chaia.

Pray also for God to continue to stir financial partners. At last count, we are down to only 6 more 100/month x 36 month partners to reach our goal.

If you are interested in financially partnering with us, you can remit payment to STADIA with "project 4-276" in the memo and send it to

STADIA
PO Box 19700
Irvine, CA 92623

**This will change once we are fully incorporated, as you will then be able to write checks directly to City Campus Church. But for now, send it here and we will go from there!

As for now, thanks for the prayers. Shaina, Chaia and Shadow are all doing well!

The Browns biggest night of the year (every year) is tonight. With the 4th pick in the NFL Draft, I think they should select Trent Richardson.

So glad you all made it safely! Your praying through the house idea is awesome, I have never purposely done it, but I pray through mine (quite possibly every room) every day :) Will be praying for the three of you to be comfortably settled, properly acquainted, and lovingly accepted in your brand new lives. Praying in KY.

Praying that you will continue to see HIS leading in this adventure.
