Thursday night we had our second installment of RISE, a gathering of a generation from the Wadsworth area. It was a good night. Here's a couple thoughts that have stuck with me.
Jesus knew we would betray him and yet he picked up a towel.
He knew we would deny him and yet he picked up a towel.
He knew we would desert her and yet he picked up a towel.
I'm not even sure I am willing to be a person of the towel even with those I like, let alone those who I don't get along with.
We shouldn't put a period where God puts a comma.
"What good is it to make a sweet sound, but remain proud?"
