Calling All Prayer Warriors!

I believe with everything in me that the single most important factor in starting a church is the prayerfulness of the saints.

We pleaded our case together for months asking God to work in Chaia's heart.

And He did (and still is).

And now we are caught up in the story of a city with thousands upon thousands of hearts at stake.

So my top priority right now is to pray our way into this story.

We don't want to walk where He first hasn't called us to step.

So this is why on June 16th we are inviting you to join us in a prayer walk in Columbus. We will meet at our place at 11:00 a.m. and I will give instructions and directions to where each group will go to pray. We will pray our socks off that the church will deeply intersect the city and the campus with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Then we will come back for a cookout and time of sharing/fellowship at 1:00.

As Mark Batterson has said...God doesn't answer vague prayers...so we are going to pray our way specifically through neighborhoods and the campus area asking for God to move.

I know for some of you, driving a couple hours to get here is a deterrent, but consider yourselves spiritual midwives...our main purpose is to help the birth come about. We do that by the blood, sweat and tears of our prayers. So grab some friends and carpool, rent a bus, find a horse, whatever it takes, we're hoping you will come to pray CityCampusChurch into existence. Bring your kids and model discipleship and prayer for them.

Let me know if you are coming: thompson14b@gmail.com

I can't be there because of work, but I'll set aside that time on the 16th to pray for the church and the people in Columbus!
