Milestone Announcement

Yesterday (Sunday) Chaia turned 6 months old. I would be the guy who would normally make fun of the guy who got amped up about 'month birthdays'...but now I'm the guy who gets amped up about 'month birthdays'. Because we have no idea how many birthdays we have with this kid. Plus 6 months is a mark that the majority didn't make it past with GACI.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) is Chaia's 100th day in the hospital. The century mark. I will be honest, Shaina and I are rather irritable at this point and we want our own bed.

But then there is today. And today brought us this announcement.

An Announcement We've Been Waiting For Weeks To Make from Mustard Revolution on Vimeo.

The Warrior Princess is on the move.

The first of many new things. Thank you so much for sharing with us! We see a lot of pictures of her but rarely any videos. She's a pretty stunning kid. I see what you mean about her joy amidst it all. It was pretty powerful to see it in action. Can't wait to see her crawl next!

AWESOME!! God is sooooooo incredibly good. My 3yr old daughter asked about Chaia today and I said why don't we pray for her. She prayed that Jesus would let Chaia come home from the hospital soon. It looks like she's on her way. So happy to celebrate the milestones with you guys and praise our amazing father for being sooo good to you!

That was an amazing video! Just have to share...I remember when my son, now soon to be 31, was in the hospital with meningitis at 6 mos old...he was very ill and we did not know what this illness would do to him....let him live was all I prayed for days!!! He did and is doing very well now and in fact expecting his first child of his own in Feb!! When he finally came home-healthy-he had to learn how to sit up all over again...thank Heavens little children bounce back fast and leave smiles on Mommy and Daddy's hearts forever!! GO Chaia..we are all pulling for you, soon you will not be able to keep her down! Love to all!
