Even the Rock (stars) will cry out.

Chaia Warrior Princess Thompson is a rockstar. I've known this. You've known this. And now Gungor, who are in their own right rockstars, know this as well.

Gungor has been one of Shaina and I's favorite bands for the past couple of years. They have combined musicality with theology in a way that our ears and heart haven't experienced. We downloaded their new album in Columbus a few days before Chaia began crashing.

Ghosts upon the Earth is their new album and song after song has spoken to our hearts through this valley. "When Death Dies" "This is Not the End" "Vous Etes Mon Couer" (You are my heart) "Every Breath". We've found hope and the words of faith that we needed to endure day by day.

And now they are pulling for Chaia as well.

Our friend Courtney Schnee in North Carolina managed to pull this off as they are on tour, stopped in Charlotte. She did not get arrested as far as I know. She even got them to put on Browns and OSU hats.

Thanks to Gungor for doing this for Chaia...If you're interested in an impromptu PICU ward concert in Cleveland Clinic, you are welcome here any time!

I'll leave you with a couple of our favorites.

Courtney, seriously, you are an amazing friend. i love you. Ben y'all are blessed to have Mike and Court in your life! As am I. P.S. GUNGOR Rocks! Love when death dies! BECAUSE THEY ARE RIGHT! Praise God that death dies! Just a side note (my mom passed before my first daughter was born) so I was talking to Annabell, and I said, today is "All Saints day" and we celebrate those who have died and went to be with Jesus in heaven. She said, (in a totally serious voice), mommy, they didn't die, they are living there! Praise God that she knows better! Still praying for Chaia and her total healing here and now, and for her grace filled life to bring Glory to Him, can't wait to see all odds defeated!! Love her and hope to meet her and y'all one day! Guys-the concert was incredible! they are accompanying David Crowder Band on their last tour, and John Mark McMillan. They're only playing acoustically on this tour, so "When Death Dies" was their first song (I sent you a picture, then my phone died...I think it thought the song was called "When Phones Die"...). I thanked all of them personally for what they did for you (and for not being frightened by Courtney hehe), and gave them your blog address, so maybe they'll get a chance to get up there. I didn't get friendly enough with them to tell them they needed to do it...sorry...We love and care about you guys more than you know! God is Good!

To quote Mary Katherine Gallagher, our favorite Catholic School girl, Chaia is not a rockstar she is a "SUPERSTAR"
