Here we go.

According to the cardiologist, this is the biggie...the test of all tests to find out if Chaia's heart is going to make it.

Ben & Shaina,

Your determination to count your suffering as joy for Christ is so very humbling. When I heard this song today it just made me so think of you....we love you both and your precious Chaia so much. Know that we are crying out to the Great Physician for his touch on your little peanut.

Add Pennsylvania to your list of those praying for (all of your) continued strength.

Came to you through Stephanie Wright, and when we lived in Cleveland our (now three year old) daughter was in the NICU for a week. NOTHING like what you are facing. Your faith and fearlessness in seeking his will is inspiring.

I will be on my knees during Chaia's test tomorrow.

Ben and Shaina,
Have been praying for you all during this difficult journey. Your faith and strength is truly inspiring. We were glad to hear Chaia had a good day today. May God continue to heal and strengthen your beautiful baby girl in the coming days.

The daily song postings this week brought me to Psalms 59:16-17
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.

We will be praying with you at 12:30p Thursday.
In Christ's Love,
The Iles Family.

A friend forwarded a link to your blog to me on FB tonight. I watched a couple of the videos and read a few entries. Words cannot express what I feel. I cried and immediately made her my FB profile picture and then made a post briefly explaining Chaia's situation, asking for prayers. I will be on my knees at 12:30pm and throughout the day. I must say your spiritual strength is inspiring. I don't want to go into detail, but I can't help but share a little. Our daughter Riley (now 1yr) was one floor above where you are in January. M-51 on the Pediatric Epilepsy Unit. She was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease caleed Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) at 4 months. She has three tumors on her brain and three on her heart. There are a lot of details but this is not about us. I just want you guys to know, that if you want to talk to another Christian young couple with a baby girl we would happily make the drive to see you. We live in Fredericksburg which is close to Wooster, OH. I'm sure you have an amazing support team, but we know how nice it can be to have someone who can relate, even a little. Our names are Galen and Kamzin Hostetler and we can both be found of FB. I have a blog called A Mama's Heart but I think it is found at sheshischildfirst.blogspot.com I'm just throwing this out there if you're interested. Our hearts feel your pain. We are and will be praying.

I pray that she will grow up and get better taste in football teams.

In all seriousness, she's way too precious. She will get serious prayers that she gets better. She's going to have such a great life with parents as loving as you two <3

I posted her picture on my status today asking my friends for prayer! I shared with our church last night the updates and praise reports for the day. God is faithful! We stand in agreement with you that Chaia will LIVE! We come against any assignment that the enemy has against your family! I don't find it a coincidence that all this began when you stepped out to start a new work for the Lord! We come against it and believe that your miracle is coming! You will plant a new work in Columbus! I speak LIFE, LIFE, LIFE! Amaze the doctors, God! Nothing is impossible for You! Breathe LIFE into Chaia's heart in Jesus name.

Ben, Shaina and Chaia,

Add Virginia to your list of those praying for God's strong hand to be with your family. Praying Psalm 22:19 for you right now (Lord, do not be far. You are Ben and Shaina's strength, come quickly and help Chaia's body, her doctors, and those caring for her.)

Know that many prayers are going out for your precious little one. When I listened to your video and as you were talking about the scripture counting your suffering as joy has brought me to my knees and made me look at myself and the situations of my family. Lil Chris (Neher) is my grandson and I also have a 6 yr old grandson who was diagnosed July 2010 with Leukemia. They live about 8 hours apart. I cannot sit here and tell you that I have counted any of this joy. I love my Lord and Savior but I have been angry with Him. The "why my grandsons, why my daughter & son in law, why my son & daughter in law, why me, wasn't one sick grandson enough" have been said over and over. I know that God is able to do far beyond what any of us can imagine for Chaia, Chris & Nathan. Thank you for allowing God to use you & speaking words of truth for in that He has spoken to me. It is time for me to live what I believe, really live it!
Many, many prayers for Chaia.
btw...love Tenth Avenue North, their drummer, Jason, used to attend the church that my kids grew up in.
